Confidence in Doomsday is one of the basics and mainstays of confidence. It is the day when everybody is to get reward and discipline for one's work and needs to go to paradise or hellfire as per one's deeds. This is the reason every single Prophet cautioned his kin of the Day of Judgment.
Concerning the information of the time of Qiyamah (End of the World) , it has not been given to any blessed messenger or Prophet. No one other than Allah knows when the last hour is.
The Quran states, O Prophet the unbelievers get some information about the time of Qiyamah. So let them know that its learning is with Allah just. (Surah Luqman)
